Addressing Trauma to Strengthen Indigenous Communities

This bundle will provide learners with an opportunity to increase their capacity to address the negative impacts of colonization, trauma, and related issues, while considering strengths-based approaches to health and wellness from an Indigenous perspective. It provides the opportunity to increase capacity and upskill workers within the “healing” sector. The program is based on research and the lived experience of Indigenous peoples working in community.  

Additionally, the courses will support employer commitments to respond to the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action and the United Nations Declaration of Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP).

Learners can request a Certificate of Recognition after the successful completion of three micro-credentials within this Bundle.
