FNTI is seeking Instructors to teach micro-credentials on a flexible basis within the 2023-2024 academic year. We would like to welcome interested applicants to apply for current and future contract opportunities in micro-credential programs, including micro-credentials in the Indigenous Relations bundle, the Indigenous Justice bundle, and the Addressing Trauma to Strengthen Indigenous Communities bundle. Each micro-credential is 15 hours in length and they are delivered in a virtual environment.
Instructors are contracted for specific micro-credentials and will be compensated for 45-hours of work, which includes preparing for, and facilitating of the sessions, grading and providing feedback on student work, and attending and participating in meetings with the teaching team.

Under the direction of Academic Dean, the Cultural Advisor has a key role in providing and mentoring teaching, knowledge dissemination, and cultural support for our learners. The incumbent will mentor as well through co-supporting and co-advising administration, coordination, research and community engagement. The Cultural Advisor will focus on these roles while always ensuring Indigenous Knowledge is a priority throughout the programs. The Cultural Advisor will support the strategic priorities of the institute while adhering to the Values, Mission and Vision.
The Human Resources Assistant will be a member of the Corporate Services team and will focus on the provision of HR advisory and transactional services as they relate to HRIS, job evaluations, recruitment, compensation, onboarding, training, performance and leave management for all Divisions. We are seeking individuals with a background in health and/or mental wellness, and/or social service work to be a part of our team. The Student Success Facilitator (SSF) is the first and ongoing point of contact for learners, following their admission to programs, as assigned by the Director, Learner Success and Service Delivery. The SSF develops and maintains successful relationships with learners and faculty to support students, enhancing their success and FNTI’s profile. SSF’s will be required to effectively organize all aspects of delivery session set-up including attending sessions and to provide support to students and faculty. The SSF also assists with admissions and recruitment in the conversion continuum (prospective students from applicant to registered student).
