WE SUPPORT INDIGENOUS COMMUNITY EDUCATION
FNTI is an Indigenous-owned and governed post-secondary institute founded in programming rooted in culture and Indigenous ways of knowing.
FNTI is a registered charitable organization, accredited by the Indigenous Advanced Education and Skills Council (IAESC).
We believe in and support the education of indigenous communities! Our programs are culturally-driven and intensively delivered, which provides learners with the ability to study quality programming while maintaining family, community and career commitments.
Our Students
FNTI has over 4,000 graduates with certificate, diploma and degree credentials issued in partnership with recognized Ontario colleges and universities.
FNTI serves 176 of 619 First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities across Canada, and 111 of 140 in Ontario. The institute welcomes approximately 300 students annually, most of whom are the recipients of band sponsorship for post-secondary education. These band sponsorships for community members often include tuition support, living allowance for full-time learners and book/supplies allowance.
