The Facilities/Maintenance Assistant is responsible for performing a wide variety of cleaning and minor maintenance duties in order to provide a healthy, safe, and sanitary environment. This position will work closely with other caretaking staff, FNTI staff, and will report directly to the Facilities Manager.
Under the direction of the Manager, Indigenous Court Services and Restorative Justice, the Gladue Writer will provide reports for the First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples in the court system to gain access to support systems, liaison services, resources and information on matters relating to the judicial system. The Gladue Writer will effectively conduct relevant research for Gladue content, have excellent interviewing techniques in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills. They will possess a strong commitment to team environment dynamics with the ability to contribute expertise and follow leadership directives at appropriate times.
Under the direction of the Manager, Indigenous Court Services and Restorative Justice, the Youth Justice Court Worker is responsible for regularly attending all youth courts within Hastings & Prince Edward and Lennox & Addington Counties and supporting Indigenous youth (ages 12-1) that are involved in the Criminal Courts of Hastings/Prince Edward and Lennox & Addington Counties.
