As a resident of Ontario and a Canadian Citizen or, landed immigrant, you may qualify for the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP). If your home is in another province, contact your Provincial Ministry of Education for information about student aid programs.
OSAP's objective is to help full-time students working towards a diploma or certificate, meet the costs of postsecondary education. The purpose of OSAP is to supplement, not to replace the financial resources that you (and your family, if applicable) are expected to contribute. It's important that you apply for OSAP as early as possible. Don't wait for acceptance from your program of study. For more detailed information or to apply, visit the OSAP website.
