Thank you for applying to the Personal Support Worker Program, delivered by FNTI in partnership with Canadore College.
After extensive consultation with all of our stakeholder groups, an evaluation of our capacity matched with our prioritizing access to uninterrupted, culturally-grounded Indigenous post-secondary education, FNTI has determined that we will deliver all 2021-2022 program classes virtually. We have made this choice in order to mitigate the risk to our communities, who may have a higher vulnerability to the COVID-19 virus.
STEP 1: ONLINE APPLICATION FORM
Please complete the following application form. It gives us the information we need to process your application.
Within minutes of submitting your application form, you will receive an acknowledgement email confirming that we have received your application and listing additional information we will need to complete your application including a completed transcript release form.
STEP 2: SUBMISSION OF TRANSCRIPT AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Once you receive the acknowledgement email and submit your completed transcript release form, FNTI will contact your school to obtain your official transcript. Be aware that it may take 4-6 weeks to receive your transcript.
STEP 3: NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE
Once your documents have been reviewed to ensure that you meet admission and program requirements, you will be contacted by email with a Letter of Offer. You will be asked to respond to ensure your place in the program.
