Significance of Land
Despite differences between First Nation, Métis and Inuit Peoples, each population carries a deep connection with the land. The land is an integral source of identity for Indigenous Peoples and the root of all Indigenous Knowledge. Each place-based population defines their traditional ways of knowing and being based on the teachings of the land. Micro-credential learners will explore how the values of respect, reciprocity, responsibility and balance relate to the spiritual connection Indigenous Peoples have with the land.
