Admissions Support for Mature Students
Mature student guidelines may allow admission to applicants who do not have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and who have been away from formal education for a certain period of time. Certain high school credits or
academic testing may be required. Criteria for admitting mature students vary somewhat depending on the program

High School Diploma Equivalencies
The Academic and Career Entrance Certificate (ACE), the Basic Training and Skills Development - Level 5 (BTSD) or the Ontario High School Equivalency Certificate (GED) are all considered equivalent to the Ontario high school diploma for entrance to college certificate, diploma and advanced diploma programs.
