INDIGENOUS ADVANCED EDUCATION AND SKILLS COUNCIL 

FNTI successfully completed its institutional review with the Indigenous Advanced Education and Skills Council (IAESC) in February 2020. This process formally grants FNTI with the authority to confer standalone Indigenous certificates, diplomas and degrees for the first time. As leaders in Ontario's Indigenous post-secondary education sector, FNTI has realized our goal of self-determination in Indigenous education delivery.

National Indigenous Accreditation Board

Founding members of the National Indigenous Accreditation Board (NIAB) envisioned a system of reviewing and validating education programs through the application of Indigenous knowledge systems.  As NIAB members, we are gifted with an opportunity to contribute to the realization of the dreams held by those early visionaries. In addition to offering accreditation for places of learning, NIAB has also developed a process for the accreditation of specific education programs.  https://www.niab.ca/
