A Completion Celebration was held on June 1, 2016, to honour the students of the Personal Support Worker program. Congratulations to our four lovely graduates on all of their accomplishments. Not only did the students complete their program, but they were all hired by their placement host, Village Green. FNTI's PSW program has seen great success with employment rates upon graduation, and this year was no exception. The students received congratulatory remarks from their Educational Support Officer, Tracey Maracle, their instructors, Marilyn and Audrie, and their employer, Debbie, from Village Green. Kelsey Turner also spoke on behalf of the students and thanked their families and the FNTI staff for the tremendous amount of support they received during their time here. Cultural Advisor, Blaine Loft, was on hand to do a traditional opening and closing of the evening, and to extend his congratulations to the students. The room was filled with positive energy and good cheer as families, friends and staff members came together to celebrate the achievements of the graduates. Congratulations to the PSW class of 2016, and best of luck in your new careers.
