On Saturday, July 27, 2013 fourteen adult students will celebrate the completion of their Ontario Secondary School Diploma studies (OSSD) with family and friends at a special ceremony to mark the occasion. The gathering is planned for John McNeill's Place at Tompkins by the Bay, 501 Dundas Street East, Deseronto, ON – beginning at 4 pm.

 

Sandy Brant, Principal of the Ohahase Education Centre, stated, "We are so proud of the accomplishment of this group of adult learners. They are an inspiration to others who wish to obtain their Grade 12 diploma." The ceremony will include a valedictorian address, student recognition awards and event photos. The Ohahase Education Centre is a program of First Nation Technical Institute (FNTI).
