FNTI Building Future Generations with Net-Zero Campus

For 35 years, First Nations Technical Institute (FNTI) has delivered high quality Indigenous post-secondary education and training for First Nation, MeĢtis, and Inuit communities. FNTI’s quick responses to the demands of students, communities and Indigenous organizations has given us the privilege of serving 112 communities in Ontario, playing a role in the Indigenous paradigm shift from education to employment.

The Indigenous institute has outgrown its space and the present facility is not equipped to serve the next generations of students and Indigenous post-secondary programming, research and development, innovation and entrepreneurship.

As FNTI prepares to launch new standalone programs, it is also gearing up for a fundraising campaign to support a planned 50,000-square-foot, net-zero facility near the site of FNTI's aviation operations.
