FNTI’s casual pool offers qualified candidates’ short-term casual assignments as the needs arise. Duties and responsibilities will vary by position.
Under the direction of the Academic Dean (AD), Stand Alone Programs, the Executive Assistant is responsible to assist with the development, implementation, administration, finance and evaluation of all educational programs within the unit. The incumbent will also assist in the day-to-day operations, planning and organization of the Academic Office(s) and the AD office.
The Executive Assistant works closely and coordinates with the Stand Alone Program team, Academic Dean, Partner Programs, Academic Programs Coordinators, the Faculty, the Administrative Assistant for VP EMSS, the EA for the President/CEO and the Reception Administrative Clerk.
FNTI is seeking FLIGHT INSTRUCTORS with ratings of Class 3 or 4 Aeroplane to deliver Flight Training. The Flight Instructors will work closely with the Chief Flight Instructor, other Flight Instructors, students, and staff members within the department.
FNTI has been delivering quality post-secondary programming rooted in culture for over 35 years and we are continuously working to evolve our programs and services to meet the needs of our communities. Recently, we have begun to explore micro-credentials to help communities and Indigenous organizations to strengthen and grow their capacity.
Micro-credentials aim to support employee and community member options for upskilling and increasing their employability skill set and are a major area of focus for the provincial government in recent years.
FNTI has applied to the Ministry of Colleges and Universities’ Micro-credentials Challenge Fund Call for Proposals, and as such, are looking for applicants to support the following work, subject to our funding application being approved:
- Indigenous Relations
- Family Violence Worker
- Indigenous Justice
- Sustainable Foods Community Garden, Food Security, Health and Wellness
- Addressing Trauma
